Part I of Gamdias Ares 7 Color Essential combo :The EREBOS LE gaming mouse review and conclusion on the whole Combo!

hey guys,it's Mashhud Hasan from frenzyweb360 and once again i'm here with a gaming mouse provided by Gamdias is called the EREBOS LE.it's along with a gaming keyboard as a combo.here's the review of the keyboard done by Ahnaf M. Siam-click here

first of all,a big thanks to Startech for providing us a review sample of this gaming combo.

so without further thinking, let's jump into the review.

first off, let's talk about it's size, shape and other outer parts.the size of this mouse is very small and i found it's shape quite similar with Razer Abyssus.chassis isn't coated with rubber like other Gamdias mice.it's covered with plastic finishing.but it's quite grippy and it didn't slip from my sweaty hand after having a long period of gaming.cable is rubberized and the USB jack is made of silver.well,a thing to mention here is,some people believe the hype of golden USB jack, which is actually a marketing gimmick.silver is a better conductor than gold.which means, current flows more quicker in silver than in gold.so,a thumbs up for making a silver USB jack in this mouse.on the chassis, there's a logo of Gamdias at palm gripping area.after plugging in,the logo doesn't glow though but the scroll wheel glows with a cycling effect of LED.gliding pads aren't that thick but they're horizontally long and with that, the mouse can slip on the surface very smoothly.the build quality of this mouse is great and there's no rattling while shaking the mouse.

there are a total of 6 buttons in this mouse including left & right buttons,2 side buttons for browsing forward and backward,a DPI button and a scroll wheel.the scroll wheel is rubberized it's pretty smooth while scrolling it.the DPI button is situated on a comfortable place and with that button, you can change the DPI into 4 different modes(800/1200/1600/3200 DPI).both of the side buttons are placed on the left side of the mouse and they're very light and easy to click.the left and right buttons are quite hard.they're very clicky.i've tested their response speed and they've performed extremely well.i'm giving down the result below..

as you can see in the test, most of the latency of the clicks are around 0.2 ms to 0.4 ms.before my accidental click at the very end of the test(where the latency of that accidental click was 24 ms),the average latency is 0.244 ms.the response speed is really good and i didn't feel any delay.

the MCU part is acceptable but i've expected from that part to perform better.i've tested it's polling rate and here i'm giving down the result.

the average polling rate is around 124-126Hz and few times it reaches 128Hz but sometimes moves down below 100Hz.it's not noticeable though and while moving the mouse i found it quite responsive.

now let's talk about it's sensor.this mouse's sensor can run upto 3200 DPI.since the DPI isn't far enough from the native DPI(undivided matrix of the sensor),so this will be good to render accurate tracking and precise performance.i've tested it's accuracy test and i'm giving the results down here

*accuracy is 75.25% at 800 DPI+5/11 Windows Sensitivity.

*deviation of the accuracy is less than 2% at 800 DPI+6/11 Windows Sensitivity.

*accuracy is 50.77% at 3200 DPI+4/11 Windows Sensitivity.

*accuracy is 81.25% at 3200 DPI+5/11 Windows Sensitivity.

i didn't test the mouse at 6/11 Win. Sens. while at 3200 DPI is because of the mouse skips pixels more at high DPI than at low DPI.tested it at 4/11 and it decelerates too much but at 5/11,it tracks pretty accurately.in this mouse, the windows sensitivity is impacting more than mouse sensitivity.thatswhy the change of accuracy between every increments of Win. sensitivity is very significant and surprisingly, this mouse decelerates less in low DPI than in high DPI which i didn't find in other random mice.i think using it in 1.2k or 2k DPI at 5/11 of sensitivity will give a good output of accuracy.

i've substantiated it's sensor in another test.

the frequency spectrum of polling rate is very synchronous with the mouse's tracking range, speed and axis.i think that's the reason i didn't feel any noticeable delay while moving the mouse.the acceleration is observable.no angle snapping, stuttering and interpolating detected.which means, this mouse is quite precise at tracking.

so my review ends here.thanks for reading.hope you guys have enjoyed it and keep following us for more contents
