Part 1 of Gamdias Ares 7 Combo review:mouse review and the conclusion!

hey guys, this is Mashhud Hasan from frenzyweb360.today i'm here with a review of a gaming mouse called Gamdias OUREA FPS.this mouse comes with a keyboard as a combo called GKC6011 Ares 7 Color Backlit RGB Membrane Gaming Combo.this is the part 1 of this combo review.first of all,a big thanks to Startech for providing this product to us for review.
you'll find this combo at Startech at the price of 2.75k BDT.here's the product link-click here

so let's jump into it without further thinking
first thing to talk about is it's size and shape.the shape of this mouse is ergonomic.it's chassis is rubberized.shape is quite similar to Lancehead.it's vertically very long and the palm rest is very big and widish.it's mostly comfortable for palm grippers but pretty much usable for all other grips.it has a Gamdias logo on the palm rest which reflects with yellow light after plugging in.there are some weight bars (4x5g) included with the mouse that'll let you adjust the weight of the mouse from 115g to 135g.slip pads underneath of the mouse aren't that big but can glide very smoothly in almost all types of surfaces.

it's cable is covered with thick rubber and the overall build quality of this mouse is very satisfying.while shaking the mouse, the weight bar was rattling though but other than that, everything is fine.

now let's talk about it's buttons.it has a total of 6 buttons including left & right buttons, two side buttons,a DPI button and a scroll wheel.scroll wheel is rubberized and glows with yellow light after plugging the mouse in.side buttons are placed on both of the sides.left one works as a backward button and the right one works as a forward button.the DPI button is placed on a very comfortable side.with that button, you can change the DPI in four different modes(400/1600/3200/4000 DPI) and scroll wheel's lighting effect also changes simultaneously(red, yellow, green and blue respectively).
left and right buttons are quite hard to press which is the reason they are very agile.and they're also very responsive.i've tested it's response speed and here's the result given below

as we can see in this test, most of the time the latency of the clicks are around 1ms to 2ms.sometimes the latency accidentally cross 5ms though but that aren't much significant enough to feel the delay.that's virtually identical and the average latency is 2.68ms,which is a great performance of course and acceptable for all.

stepping into the next part, the MCU of this mouse also performs really well.i've tested it at mouse polling rate checker powered by Zowie.here's the result given below

the polling rate barely goes down to 900Hz and constantly renders 910Hz-930Hz of rate which is the reason this mouse is so responsive.even before testing it's polling rate,i felt it's snappiness while moving it fast.so,a big thumbs up for it's performance in this section.

now we'll talk about the most important part of this mouse rather any mouse,is it's sensor.this mouse contains an optical sensor that can run upto 4k DPI.well,in this case,i will recommend using it at as low DPI as possible cause in my accuracy test,at lower DPI settings, this sensor comparably performed well.i'm letting you guys see the result of the sensor down here

*68.25% accuracy at 400DPI+5/11 Windows Sensitivity

*86.25% accuracy at 400DPI+6/11 Windows Sensitivity

*65.62% accuracy at 1200DPI+5/11 Windows Sensitivity

*82.25% accuracy at 1200DPI+6/11 Windows Sensitivity

so,at 5/11 Win. Sens, the sensor decelerates which causes comparably lower accuracy.at 7/11 Win. Sens,it skips pixels.so i will recommend using this mouse at as low DPI as possible and 6/11 Win. Sens to get the best of it.because at 6/11 Windows Sens,it performed really well.at any DPI it'll cross 80% of accuracy which is great.so this sensor will give you it's best if you can tweak the settings with accurate calculation.

i've also tested it's sensor at Mouse Jitter Tester and the sensor of this mouse stutters vertically while tracking horizontal movements.but that isn't significant and i believe won't affect in gaming.at vertical movements,it tracks really smooth.

this mouse also performed impressive at FPS Style Reaction Speed Tester.and the sensor tracks well on both axis and the frequency rate is pretty much synchronized with it's tracking speed.

so highlighting everything again, this mouse's shape, size, buttons, cable, chassis and all these outer parts are robust.the feature of weight adjustments has impressed me.the look of this mouse is very attractive.the sensor is very swanky and i never felt any delay.at RPG gaming,i've did some fast horizontal flicks.at higher DPI settings,it sometimes spins out though but at lower DPI settings with higher Windows Sensitivity,it never spins out.and an interesting thing that i've found out that, even though the sensor is optical but it still tracks pretty well at brighter surfaces.but for stutter-less tracking, using it on opaque surface is always recommended.

thanks a lot for watching.hope it'll help you guys and as always, stay tuned for more.
